harmony with God,
i've needed that for so long
just to be in the quiet with him
singing praises to his name,
calling out to him
and weeping in joy,
being cleansed of all my sins
finally feeling at peace
just me and just him.
i need only to hear his voice,
to feel his touch,
to know his presence
around me, within me,
beside me and completely filling me.
his plan for us never goes awry,
he never needs to rest
or take time for himself,
for we are part of him
and he loves us as his own.
our freedom is found within his light
our peace is given by his grace
his death… offered for our life.
